Arts4All Florida and Title IV, Part A Virtual Summer Teacher Institutes

Arts4All Florida and Title IV, Part A have partnered to offer three new summer Virtual Art and Technology Teacher Institutes. These institutes are designed to teach educators how to use technology to teach art and music to students with and without disabilities.

  • Tinkercad 3D Modeling: Learn the basics of 3D design using Tinkercad, a no-cost, cloud-based software, which will be on July 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, and 17, 2020, all sessions are 9:30-11 a.m. EST
  • CoSpaces VR & AR Design: Learn the basics of designing for Virtual Reality and the Merge Cube (Augmented Reality) using CoSpaces, which will be on July 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and 31, 2020, all sessions are 9:30-11 a.m. EST

These trainings are at no cost and are open to any public or private school teacher in Florida. Registration opens June 8, 2020, for teachers in rural counties and June 15, 2020, for teachers in all other counties. 

  • Music for All: Introduction to Access and Differentiated Instruction will be on July 21, 2020, at 1-5:30, p.m. This event is designed for teachers of elementary and middle grades students who want to become more confident including students with disabilities in their music classes.

This training is available at no cost and registration opens June 12, 2020, for teachers in rural counties and June 19, 2020, for teachers in all other counties.
